Maintenance Projects
The wildlife at Terrell's Island gets a
lot of attention, and rightfully so, but there are some human needs
on the land as well. Maintenance of the Club's buildings and
equipment goes hand and hand with the enjoyment
of wildlife and quiet places.
Much of it is necessary for our continued stewardship of these
lands.
The following is a list of projects that
need to be completed out at the Terrell's Island property. Some are
simple and can be done in a few hours with enough people. Others are
more complex. We are willing to train anyone who is interested in
donating their time and energy to our success. Throughout the
summer we will be meeting 2-3 hours before the General Membership
meetings to work on some of these projects. The Club needs support
from members like you to complete these tasks. Please
contact us
to help if you are able.
