Pelicans 2008

The Feather Rehabilitation Center banded a number of Pelicans on Terrell's Island in order to study their migration patterns and overall health. Click here to see photos of their adventure. Unfortunately they were asked to stop by the DNR out of fears that it might be stressing the Common Terns in the area.

An article about the banding was printed in The Country Today. Click here to read the article.
