Directions: From Oshkosh, take Hwy 21 west to Rivermoor Rd. Turn north (right) and follow Rivermoor to Shubert Rd. (Approx 4 mi) Turn right on Shubert Rd and continue until you come to the parking area you are then on BDMCC property.

                    From Omro, take Hwy 21 east to Rivermoor Rd and turn left.

If you come to the lake on Rivermoor Rd., you've gone too far. Turn around and Shubert Rd. will be the first road you come to.

Terrell's Island is open to the public 365 days a year - (weather permitting) from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset.  Events outside of these hours must be approved by the Butte des Morts Conservation Club. (Contact us) There are some very simple rules to follow: 

    Remember that this is a fragile habitat and restoration area.

    Please obey all signs.

    Please do not litter.

    Please do not pick or plant any vegetation without Club permission.

    Vehicle travel may be restricted in certain areas. If you have special needs or an event which requires further access, please contact the Club and we will be happy to accommodate you. Travel on the breakwall is prohibited by law with the exception of maintenance purposes. 

    Please report anyone violating the laws immediately.
