November 8 General Meeting Minutes

BDMCC General Meeting

Monday, November 8, 2021 at 6:30pm at Winkler’s Westward Ho - Oshkosh

 

The General Meeting of the Butte des Morts Conservation Club was called to order on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the Winkler’s Westward Ho by Bruce Loberg. Minutes were read and accepted.

 

  1. Communications
    1. Battle on Bago – Bruce will get raffle tickets as soon as he can
  2. Fundraising
    1. Calendar Raffle – Jordan will continue to look into
  3. Property/Trail Update
    1. Break wall – Will need to redo some markers.
      1. We are looking to add an amendment - add a 50-foot turnaround at the end of the break wall
      2. Bruce is trying to get a meeting set with contractors before winter
      3. Environmental Assessment – Bruce is pushing to get the paperwork done
  4. Pontoon Boat
    1. Pontoon boat is sold. Will look into selling boat lift next year
  5. Wiouwash Trail Clean Up – Was completed Saturday, October 16th
  6. Gun Raffles – Bruce will look into  
  7. Floor was open for nominations - Art noted that he was interested in staying on the board. Include a survey monkey link for voting.
  8. Strategic Plan
    1. We need to update the plan possibly in January 2022. Lawanda stated she would like to help with this.
  9. Boot Brush Station - We were awarded a Boot Brush Station – they will reimburse us for our tools
  10. Banquet – Jordan will call Fin to check on available dates
  11. December Meeting – Possibly get a speaker – complimentary appetizers and drinks

 

Meeting was adjourned by Lawanda Jungwirth, seconded by Jim Booras at 7:12pm. Next General Meeting will be Monday, December 13, 2021 at Winklers Westward Ho.
