BDMCC General Meeting
Monday, February 21, 2022 at 6:30pm at Winkler’s Westward Ho - Oshkosh
The General Meeting of the Butte des Morts Conservation Club was called to order on Monday, February 21, 2022 at the Winkler’s Westward Ho at 6:35pm by Bruce Loberg. Minutes were read and accepted.
- Communications
- Battle on Bago –tickets are turned in. 400 sold.
- Fundraising
- Calendar Raffle – Best to have a 1-month calendar raffle having the drawing take place at Jordan’s home. June is the suggested month for drawing. $20 ticket. More to come on this.
- Property/Trail Update
- Lift – Contact Radtke come Spring
- Breakwall – Making slow progress. The contracts end after this year. We will need to rebid everything come next year. The goal is to keep the trail open to the schoolhouse.
- Parking Lot Camera – will be bought/installed in the Spring
- Banquet – Thursday, April 7th at Fin N’ Feather. Looking for donations and volunteers to help with banquet. Next banquet meeting will be Monday, March 7th at 5:30pm
- Strategic Plan – Bruce and Lawanda are working on getting that updated
- Invasive Plants – Lawanda and Ron would like to put together descriptions and photographs of invasive plants.
- Wood Duck Houses – Ron and Lawanda filled and fixed the houses. There are 34 Wood Duck houses. Checked 33 of them. 1 of them is not reachable. 15 had feathers, 1 had broken eggs, 6 were entirely empty. Had to repair 9 of them. Out of the 33, 26 were successful. Looking for someone to rebuild houses.
