The General Meeting of the Butte des Morts Conservation Club was called to order on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Butte des Morts Lions Club at 6:31pm by Bruce Loberg. Minutes were read and accepted. Treasurers report was read and accepted.
- Fundraising
- Calendar Raffle – All went well. Get establishments more involved next year
- Battle on Bago – Bruce will attend meeting in December and get tickets for us to sell.
- Communications
- Sturgeon Advisory – Stacy Frakes will be attending November 16th Meeting
- Winnebago Fisheries – Tom Bett attended October 19th meeting and meeting notes will be added to dropbox
- Winneconne Reporting is due – Bruce will get on agenda
- Property/Trail Update
- Breakwall – $40,000 short on funds. Bruce will send out revision 3 to board members to review
- Dave volunteered to help trim bushes and assist with property maintenance
- Parking Lot Cameras – Estimate of $4800. Looking for funds – post online and on Facebook.
- Strategic Plan – Bruce will follow up with Board on specific duties
- Invasive Project – Ron will be adding items to dropbox. Lawanda plans on having a comparison chart showing what was present in 2000 and is present in 2022
- Guns – Tom plans on having a ‘finding report’ for any buyers
- Lawn mower – Looking for a riding lawn mower of 46 inches or larger in great condition. Dave will visit Kitz&Pfeil
- Membership Cards – Jordan have new membership cards at our December Meeting to distribute to area establishments
- Board Members - Kevin and Jordan are up for re-election. Jordan agreed to stay on. Bruce will talk with Kevin.
- Meeting Dates of next year – possibly skip December meeting next year?
- December Meeting: Need to decide if we will continue with Banquet or another cash raffle drawing?
Meeting was adjourned by Lawanda Jungwirth, seconded by Don Stowe at 7:36pm. Next General Meeting will be Monday, December 5, 2022 at The Westward Ho.
