The General Meeting of the Butte des Morts Conservation Club was called to order on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Westward Ho at 6:37pm by Bruce Loberg. Minutes were read and accepted. Treasurers report was read and accepted.

- Property/Trail Update
- Trail Opening Today, May 8th
- Lawanda went out and cleaned up the shoreline along the break wall. 2 birds were found deceased. Lawanda called DNR and they will not come out to test unless we have more than 5 birds deceased. Please report to DNR if you see anything.
- Breakwall
- Korin is leaving Fox Wolf. Korin’s boss, Jessica will take over. Most important thing is to make sure our permits are up to date.

- Send out a letter to local establishments to thank them
- Wiouwash Trail Clean Up – Jordan will get it done before Memorial Day Weekend
- Parking Lot Cameras – Estimate of $5000 - Looking for donations
- Memberships – Send out a postcard to remind members to renew
- Strategic Plan – Goal #1 is complete. Will need volunteers to help with goal #2 duties
- Guns – Weatherby 270 Brett Favre gun – can’t locate certificate yet. Until we locate certificate, we will not sell.
- Property and Liability – Walk through buildings at next meeting to assess
- New signs will be needed next year for trail closing
