Wetlands and Wildlife

Date: July 17, 2013

Wetlands serve a vital function as sponges and cleansers of our waterways, but they offer some awe inspiring viewing opportunities for us as well. Whether you enjoy sitting and listening to the wind blow through the reeds and the trees, bird watching any of the many bird species, or catching a glimpse of a fawn exploring the world for the first time Terrell's Island has something for everyone.

Here are a few photos of some of the sights you might see on your next visit to Terrell's. Send us your favorite photos taken at Terrell's Island, and we will happily add them to this page (with credit of course!). If you aren't camera savvy you can always just send us an email and let us know what you saw and how your visit went. We love to hear from you. :)

If you haven't been to Terrell's Island yet we hope that these photos will inspire you to come visit.
