The General Meeting of the Butte des Morts Conservation Club was called to order at 6:30 PM by Bruce Loberg.

·         New donations: Battle on Bago ticket sales donation $3,228

·         Winneconne Town Reporting due in November

·       Lift: Decision made to scrap the lift; Ken Meier will work on this in the winter when he can access the lift.

·       Trail is now open. However, we did have flood water damage. Looking to get estimates and possible go fund me page set up. Grants are not available at this time.

·       Building clean up – Bruce Loberg, Ken Meier, Dave Lux and Pete Guckenberg took a load to “scrap for trap” Thank You!

·       Need to schedule Trail Brush Clean up

·       Breakwall Project: Last meeting was 4/2/2026

-Jordan Vanderloop will post public hearing notice in Oshkosh Herald this week

-August 22^nd is when open water work can begin. Permit is needed for temporary seawall, which has been submitted and can take 90 days

·       Inside Rock Removal: Art Techlow continues work on

·       Jordan Vanderloop will complete Wiouwash cleanup next week

·       Golf Outing is scheduled for Sunday, August 23^rd

·       October Calendar Raffle tickets are available to sell/purchase

·       Strategic Plan: Seeking leaders

·       UW–Oshkosh Grant: Art Techlow to follow up.

·       Building Cleanup: Dave got proposal from TVR Contracting for garage repair. Labor $3000. Need to get lumber price from Eric at Omro Lumber.

·       Viewing platform – Radtke quote was $82,500. GoFundMe page?

·       Trail Open Hours: Suggestions were to have 1 day a month to be open later? Leave gate open but close the second gate? Will discuss further at next meeting.

·       Lawanda Jungwirth and Jordan Vanderloop are working on by-law revisions.

·       Maintenance schedule needs to be created

·       School house clean up needed – Brad Winkler can get truck with water. Needs to get scheduled.
