General Meeting Minutes

1. Communications

• Winneconne Town reporting is due in November.
• The Sturgeon Committee meeting will be held September 23. Stacy Frakes will attend.
• Jordan Vanderloop will check with Angelo regarding his availability to speak at the January meeting.

2. Property / Trail Updates

• The lift will be scrapped.
• Ken Meier will work on this during the winter when he is able to access the lift.

• Garage cleanup is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29 at 5:00 PM.

• Angelo is working to keep the seawall in place; however, there is a good possibility the DNR will require it to be removed and replaced, which would cost approximately $60,000.
• The goal is to finish Section 11 and recap Sections 6–10.
• Section 11 and the new walls will need to be marked for two years following completion.

• Jordan Vanderloop will complete the fall cleanup.

• Bruce Loberg received the following proposal from Radtke for trail repairs:
• $41,630 – Barge work
• $12,790 – Trail work
• $8,525 – Additional trail work
• Don Stowe made a motion to complete work on the two trails for a total of $21,315, allowing the club to avoid using the principal from the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation balance.
• Bruce will prepare an email for a vote.

3. Fundraising

• The Golf Outing Fundraiser generated a profit of $4,186.00.
• October Calendar Raffle tickets are available.

4. Old Business

• Looking for leaders

• Art Techlow will follow up.

• A quote of $82,500 was received from Radtke for the viewing platform.

5. New Business

• A bylaws meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 5 at 6:30 PM by phone with the Board to review the bylaws.

• Randy Pointon will bring mounted ducks from Frank Kachur to the schoolhouse at the next meeting.
• Brad Winkler volunteered to complete the needed schoolhouse cleanup after the Radtke trucks are gone.

• Board members whose terms are up for election in 2027 are:
• Ron Jungwirth
• Lawanda Jungwirth
• Ken Meier
• Ken Meier agreed to remain on the Board.
