March 13, 2023 at Westward Ho at 6:30pm by Bruce Loberg. Minutes were read and accepted. Treasurers report was read and accepted.
- Property/Trail Update
- Trail Opening will be 2nd weekend of May
- Need to set a date to trim bushes and check on markers at April meeting
- Fundraising
- Spring Cash Raffle –$20/ticket – 750 tickets sold. Drawing will be Monday, May 8th 7pm at Westward Ho.
- Parking Lot Cameras – Estimate of $5000 - Looking for funds – Jordan will post online and on Facebook that we are looking for donations.
- Invasive Project – Art will talk to Andrew on coming to a meeting
- Guns – Scheels is not interested in the guns. Bruce is working with a collector and possibility of receiving $1500-$2000 for each gun. Bruce will follow up.
- Lawn Mower – We purchased a John Deere X300 with a 48-inch deck with 76 hours for $2100. Thanks to Dave Lux for his hard work with this project.
- Property and Liability – Bruce did meet with Tom Pupeter regarding insurance for our multiple building’s that we have on Terrell’s Island property. Bruce will follow up with Tom on new policy pricing.
- In the summer we will need to re assess the buildings and what can be repaired.
- Memberships–As of now we have 15 members. Jordan will get a list to directors of past members to reach out to who have not yet renewed.
- Frank’s Duck Mounts – Randy Pointon made a motion to keep Franks Ducks with the Conservation Club. Pete Guckenberg seconded.
- Visitor Guide – Ron & Lawanda edited the visitor guide to be printed up for May trail opening.
- Future General Meetings – Lawanda made a motion to skip July and December General Meetings. Art seconded.
