The General Meeting of the Butte des Morts Conservation Club was called to order on Monday, August 14, 2023 at The School House at 6:30pm by Bruce Loberg. Minutes were read and accepted. Treasurers report was read and accepted.
- Property/Trail Update
- Schedule a Fall Clean Up at September Meeting
- Breakwall
- Breakwall Permit – We did receive our 2-year extension. Waiting for reply from Jessica at Fox Wolf
- Removing rock with barge - Art did talk with CR Meyer but things could get costly. Looking into some other options. Art will report back.
- Fundraising
- Tickets are available for our October Calendar raffle!
- Wiouwash Trail Clean Up – Jordan will complete in fall
- Parking Lot Cameras – Estimate of $5000 - Looking for donations. Jordan did apply for a grant through Winneconne Thrift and Gift.
- Strategic Plan – Goal #1 is complete. Will need volunteers to help with goal #2 duties. Lawanda will send Jordan a simplified version of volunteer opportunities to send out to members.
- Guns – Brett Favre gun – Certificate located. Possibly have a bar in Green Bay sell tickets for the gun during home packer games. Bruce and Ken will circle back to us at September meeting.
- Building Maintenance – School house foundation needs repair soon. Waiting for more estimates to come in.
- Nominations will be held in September (Bruce-President, Pete-VP, Dave Lux - Director)
- Ranger is fixed. Pin on crank shaft needed to be fixed - $400
