The General Meeting of the Butte des Morts Conservation Club was called to order on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Winklers Westward Ho at 6:32pm by Bruce Loberg. Minutes were read and accepted. Treasurers report was read and accepted.
- Sturgeon Committee – Endangered species – At federal level and should know by June where this is at and hopefully have public comment at that time.
- Property/Trail Update
- Schedule a Fall Clean Up after leaves fall
- Breakwall
- Breakwall Permit – We did receive our 2-year extension. Bruce had a meeting with Fox Wolf, County and DNR. He will have a face-face meeting first week of November.
- Fundraising
- Golf Outing – profit of $2420. Looking for someone to head this up next year.
- Calendar Raffle – Be sure to get tickets back to Jordan before October 1st.
- Parking Lot Cameras – Kevin Stowe volunteered to donate security camera cost
- Strategic Plan – Goal #1 is complete. Will need volunteers to help with goal #2 duties. Lawanda will send Jordan a simplified version of volunteer opportunities to send out to members.
- Guns – Brett Favre gun – Certificate located. Possibly have a bar in Green Bay sell tickets for the gun during home packer games. Bruce and Ken will look into this.
- Building Maintenance – Getting estimated cost to repair each building. The schoolhouse foundation needs repair ASAP. ABT $37,240, B&B $32,730, AREA $26,830. Bruce will send an email out to get approval from board.
- Nominations – Bruce accepted as President. Pete accepted as Vice President. Dave accepted as Director.
