January 8 General Meeting

The General Meeting of the Butte des Morts Conservation Club was called to order on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Winklers Westward Ho at 6:33pm by Bruce Loberg.

 

  1. Communications        
    1. Kevin Stowe is donating the remainder amount for parking lot cameras.
    2. Winneconne Town Report – Bruce did attend the 11/16 meeting  
      1. Get an updated map of Terrell’s Island at the town hall
  2. Property/Trail Update
    1. Fall Clean Up was done on Dec 12th by Ken, Pete and Bruce
    2. Breakwall Project – we need cold!
  3. Fundraising
    1. Spring Raffle – Same prize amounts and tickets as last year.
    2. Battle on Bago – We have 500 tickets to sell. We get a percentage back on every dollar.
  4. Parking Lot Cameras – We have proposals from AVS (Brian) and Lux Electric. Bruce needs to fill out electric application.
  5. Brett Favre Gun – Bruce has the gun. We will hold off on doing anything with the gun until further notice.
  6. Birdhouses –Omro Lumber donated the wood to let the scout finish his wood duck houses
  7. Building Maintenance – Schoolhouse foundation was repaired by AREA Foundation for $31k.  
  8. Guest Speaker: Angelo Cozzola, Fisheries Biologist

 

Meeting was adjourned by Lawanda Jungwirth seconded by Kevin Stowe at 7:40pm. Next General Meeting will be Monday, February 12, 2024 at The Westward Ho.
